EGW uses the latest in Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) Technology to manufacture compensators for the most popular handguns. Although the rest of the industry relies on a variety of computer controlled mills, EGW has proven the quality and reliability of products like their world famous compensators that use a variety of angles and shapes that simply cannot be matched with CNC machines or conventional mills.

The shapes and angles achieved with EDM produce a greater surface area for the expanding gasses to push against. This yields a softer feeling comp for the shooter and less recoil effect. EDM also hardens the surface which provides longer life to EGW comps…longer than any other comp on the market.

EDM and CNC comps are available in cone, hybrid, or bushing styles.
